PUT TOGETHER A TEAM!!
Each team has five bowlers and each bowler is responsible for raising $150 (just ask 15 people for $10 and you’re there!) for a total team contribution of $750. If your company would like to sponsor your team of five, we would put a banner up on your team’s lane! Team together to promote changed lives in the Treasure Valley! Dress up with your team theme! Win prizes for best costumes and team names!

 Team Captains are organizers and cheerleaders in one!
They are people that like to get things done, are responsible, and like to recruit others to help. The Team Captain will:
Step 1: ORGANIZE A TEAM OF FIVE PEOPLE (which includes yourself). Recruit four other people to build your team (friends, family, co-workers, etc.). They do not have to be bowlers or have any previous bowling experience.
Step 2: TEAM CAPTAINS WILL RECEIVE a packet containing pledge forms and information sheets for each team member (feel free to make more copies).
- You will instruct your team members to canvas their network of friends, family, neighborhood, etc. to collect pledges to bowl. The pledges are a flat fee, not a per pin amount. Each team member’s goal is to collect a minimum of $150 per person for a total team amount of $750.
- Encourage your team members that if they ask for $10 from 15 people, they will have raised $150 which will help us to reach our goal of $30,000!
- Tax receipts will be available upon request.
Step 3: REGISTER YOUR TEAM at www.bowlathon.net. At this website you will be able to keep track of your team members and pledged money.
- Choose a team name – the lane will be reserved under whatever name you decide upon. Be creative, wild, or conventional – the choice is yours! And if you want to come up with a team theme costume, go for it!
- Direct pledge donations to the website where sponsors can pay with a credit card and apply the donation on behalf of an individual bowler or team.
Step 4: PLEDGES PAID WITH A CHECK must be made payable to the name below and mailed by February 10, 2010.

Step 5: REMIND YOUR TEAM TO SHOW UP AT THE BOWLING ALLEY ABOVE ON MARCH 13, 2010 > Call your team members prior to the event and arrange to meet them 15-30 minutes before the event begins. (the event is from 1-4pm)
Step 6: PREPARE YOUR TEAM - Lead your team members to check in, get their shoes, and find your lane. Put on your shoes, pick out a bowling ball, and HAVE A BLAST!
