Teams
Each team has six bowlers.  Registration to secure your spot is $10 (total team - $60).  We are asking every bowler to help Chrysalis by raising $100 (just ask 10 people for $10 and you're there!) for a total team contribution of $600.

Company Sponsored Teams
Your company can sponsor your team of six for $750 (which includes registration and donation).  Your company would have a banner with company's name/logo on your lane, and be in our event brochure!  Team up to promote changed lives in the Treasure Valley!  Dress up with your team theme!

Team Captains are organizers and cheerleaders in one!

Chrysalis Bowl-a-Thon 2010The Team Captain will:

Step 1: ORGANIZE A TEAM OF SIX PEOPLE (which includes yourself). Recruit five other people to build your team (friends, family, co-workers, etc.). They do not have to be bowlers or have any previous bowling experience.

Step 2: COLLECT $10 FROM EACH BOWLER to secure their spot.  Send the registration fees to:

Step 3: TEAM CAPTAINS WILL RECEIVE information sheets for each team member (feel free to make more copies).

  • You will instruct your team members to canvas their network of friends, family, neighborhood, etc. to collect donations (donations are a flat fee, not a per pin amount). Each team member's goal is to collect $100 per person (but don't stop there!).
     
  • Encourage your team members that if they ask for $10 from 10 people, they will have raised $100 which will help us to reach our goal of $20,000!
     
  • Tax receipts will be available upon request.

Step 4: REGISTER YOUR TEAM at www.bowlathon.net. At this website you will be able to keep track of your team members and donated money.

  • Choose a team name – the lane will be reserved under whatever name you decide upon. Be creative, wild, or conventional – the choice is yours! And if you want to come up with a team theme costume, go for it!
     
  • You can direct donations to the website where sponsors can pay with a credit card and apply the donation on behalf of an individual bowler or team.

Step 5: DONATIONS PAID WITH A CHECK must be made payable to "Chrysalis" and mailed by October 9, 2010 to:

Step 6: REMIND YOUR TEAM TO SHOW UP AT MERIDIAN LANES ON OCTOBER 23, 2010 from 2-4pm > Call your team members prior to the event and arrange to meet them 15-30 minutes before the event begins.

Step 7: PREPARE YOUR TEAM - Lead your team members to check in, get their shoes, and find your lane. Put on your shoes, pick out a bowling ball, and HAVE A BLAST!
