How does Mychal's Bowlathon work?

• Register a team or join a team. Each team can have up to 6 bowlers. If your team fills up, you can start a second one if we have room. Any left open slots can be filled by our organizer closer to the date of the event. If you don't have a team to join, please send us an email and we'll set you up!
  
  
• Decide if you want to get sponsors...if you do, ask your sponsors to go to www.bowlathon.net/mychals2009 to learn more and sponsor the event online or log a Sponsor Pledge Sheet that you can download here. All sponsors will receive a receipt after payment has been received. Or if you do not want to collect sponsors, make a $30 donation online now (children are $15). This donation amount includes your 2 game playing fee. All participants are provided bowling shoes, free food and other goodies!

• Prizes awarded to:
  • Highest score for adult age 18+ years
  • Highest score for kids age 17 and younger
  • Most money raised
  • Best Team Costumes
    
    
• Show up on Sunday, October 25th at 10:30a.m. to check-in and get your shoes. We bowl at 11:00am. Come meet Mychal's kids and help us raise money! Bowling Alley info below...

• Your sponsor pledges .25 cents per pin
• You bowl 100 on the first game and 90 on the 2nd game
• The sponsor will pay $47.50 ($25 for game 1 and $22.50 for game 2)
• After August 17th, your sponsor will get an email from Mychal's announcing the Bowlathon results. The email will have directions for online payment or mailing a check or money order.

Team Captain:

1. Register your team and setup your bowlers > click on the link on the menu to the left.
2. Make sure your bowlers understand their participation. Set a good example and get sponsors - after all, it is a fundraiser!
3. If you need additional bowlers to meet the 6 person limit, speak to the organizer and he/she will help find you an additional bowler(s).

 Individual Bowlers:

1. As a bowler on a team, you will play 2 games and have 2 options to handle your part in the fundraiser
2. Make a $30 donation in your name towards the event and it will cover your 2 games OR
3. Find sponsors to make either a per pin pledges or donations. This option will most likely cover the $30 play fee and raise more money for Mychal's Learning Place.
