ABOUT OUR EVENT:
Hey folks!-We’re gearing up for an awesome 2024 of new work, new artists and amazing theater and we really need the support of the community to meet our goals! What better way is there to support our Small but Mighty theater than to slip on your bowling shoes and roll a couple of strikes for a very worthy cause? We’re hosting our first annual Bowlathon bash at Frames Bowling lounge NYC, and all proceeds will directly support our artists and wild project theater. What’s the best part? You’ll be bowling and it’s easy to sign up! You can sign up individually, create your own team and even join the event from another city!
We’ve always maintained a ‘Mom and Pop’ approach to theater, but we must also meet our responsibilities to keep our 89-seat Gem clean, up-to-date and supportive! You’ll be helping us continue our mission that serves countless artists. Check out how to register below or it’s easy to make a donation if you can’t make it! We’ll see you there!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
You have 3 ways to participate! Scroll down, hit Register to Bowl and you can 1. Join an existing team, 2. sign up as a single bowler and we will assign you to a team or 3. hit Create a Team and grab up to six of your favorite people to bowl with. Each team may have up to 7 bowlers.
The “NYC Session” will take place at Frames Bowling Lounge in NYC. For those who would like to participate but don’t live in New York City, sign up for the “Hometown Session” to bowl and collect donations at your respective hometown bowling alley.
No bowling experience is necessary! Every bowler will receive a free First Annual wild project Bowl-a-thon T Shirt.

The website will keep track of your progress. It’s that easy! (Donations can also be made by check. See below for more details.) You can create a team or join an existing team. We ask that each team collectively raise at least $3,500 (suggested goal, not mandatory).

- SET A GOAL: You can top the $3,500 commitment we ask for from each team. Don’t underestimate yourself.
- START EARLY: Don’t wait until the last minute. It’s never too early.
- JUST ASK: Don’t be afraid. Ask people to “help you support wild project”. Ask everyone: family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, your boss, hairdresser, dentist, or your ex! Remember that your friends and family want to support you, so don’t be shy!
- SEND A LETTER or EMAIL: Write a simple letter to friends and family members. Tell them why you are bowling and ask them to support you by making a contribution.
