Join us for the first annual Women With A Vision “Strikes for Justice” Bowl-a-Thon being held Saturday, March 31st, at Fulton Alley! Joining us is simple. Choose one of our teams to bowl with (slots are limited) or become a virtual bowler and get your friends and relatives to sponsor you! All proceeds will benefit the programs at Women With A Vision, Inc.

How to Participate

Registration fee is $30 per person and includes:
- One game of bowling,
- A ticket for a free beer or wine
- Appetizers
- Bowling shoes
- “My Existence is Political” T-shirt
You don’t have to be an expert bowler to have fun!
- Join an existing team or sign up as a “Virtual Bowler” (If you can’t attend but would still like to fundraise).

Fundraising:
Once you register, now it’s time to raise some money! We ask that each team collectively raise a minimum $6k. That’s only $600 per person, so please start now and keep fundraising until 31st. PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED TO THE TEAM and PERSON WHO RAISES THE MOST $$$. It’s EASY, FUN and all donations are tax deductible and help a great cause! Direct your sponsors – friends and family – to the website to donate on behalf of your team with a credit or debit card through PayPal. All donations are fully secure, and the website tracks your team’s progress. It’s that easy!

About Our Organization
Women With A Vision, Inc. (WWAV) is a community-based non-profit, founded in 1989 by a grassroots collective of African-American women in response to the spread of HIV/AIDS in communities of color. Created by and for women of color, WWAV is a social justice non-profit that addresses issues faced by women within our community and region. Major areas of focus include Sex Worker Rights, Drug Policy Reform, HIV Positive Women’s Advocacy, and Reproductive Justice outreach.
